Demonic Resurrection have won the Global Metal award at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2010 in London, UK on 14th June.

Metal Hammer is the one of the most prestigious heavy metal magazines in the world and the Golden Gods are their flagship awards for metal achievers across the world and are considered the most important heavy metal awards. In the past, the recipients of these awards have included bands like Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Slipknot and Anthrax among others.

Demonic Resurrection is the only band from India to ever have won a Golden God award, made all the more significant by the fact that they beat bands from all over the world to claim it. The complete list of winners is here:
